In a quiet corner of Harput, Armenia — a once thriving Armenian city — our story begins. It’s a story carried in whispers, preserved in memory, and honored through tradition.

Aladdin’s Armenian Coffee is more than a drink—it’s a tribute to the people of Armenia.

In 1915, during the horrific large-scale mass murder of over one million Armenians known as the Armenian Genocide, my grandfather made a decision no one should have to make. To protect my grandmother and uncle from slaughter, he entrusted them to a non-Armenian neighbor, not as guests—but as slaves. It was the only way to save them.

With a heavy heart and unwavering hope, he escaped into the mountains, fighting for survival and freedom. His dream? To reach America. To earn enough money to bring his family back together. To rebuild a life that had been ripped apart by the Armenian Genocide.

Years later, that dream came true. My grandmother and uncle reunited with him in Massachusetts, where my mother was born—and where the flame of our culture still burns.

Hand-roasted to order in small batches, our coffee honors centuries of Armenian tradition—rich, bold, and brewed the way it’s always been: slowly, intentionally, in a jezve or ibrik, over quiet heat and deeper conversation.
